Recreation and Athletics Facilities Master Plan, Duke University
The master plan identified land use requirements and set forth a framework for the development of recreation and athletic facilities on the West, Central and East campus of Duke University. The Design Team evaluated renovations to existing facilities as well as construction of new venues and fields, including a new student recreation center, new recreation and informal play areas, new student performance center, new baseball stadium, new aquatics center, new outdoor plazas and walkways, improved open spaces, and renovations to Cameron Indoor Stadium and Wallace Wade Stadium.

HNTB provided master planning services that included evaluation of existing facilities, development of planning concepts, and preparation of cost estimates for all proposed projects. An interactive fundraising DVD was also developed that includes graphic tools suitable for donor presentations. The study will enable the University to assess facility needs and determine required improvements.
